  1. Hello!

I left a message on your etsy website, but after poking around a bit I realized “I may have broken something” and you might not be accessing that site at this time! So I am going to add the letter that I sent to you at etsy and we will go from there!

    Dear Raymond,

My name is Lee Ann and I’m the Gallery Coordinator at the Bush Barn Art Center in Salem, Oregon. Our staff viewed your artwork on your website and felt your work might be a good fit for our upcoming Holiday Showcase, November 15 – December 24.

Located in the picturesque setting of Bush’s Pasture Park, the Bush Barn Art Center is a vibrant cultural hub offering a dynamic spectrum of art exhibitions as well as a gift gallery that offers works of art by talented Pacific Northwest artists and craftspeople. It is housed in a historic circa 1865 building that once served as the carriage house and stables for the Bush family, prominent mid-Willamette Valley pioneers and founders of the Statesman-Journal newspaper. The Art Center is operated by the Salem Art Association, a ninety two-year-old nonprofit arts organization.

The annual Holiday Showcase will take place in the A.N. Bush Gallery, which is the Art Center’s largest exhibit space. In addition to featuring the works of regional and national artists, this event generates a high volume of sales for the participating exhibitors. The Art Center operates on a consignment basis with a 50-50 commission arrangement, much like a commercial gallery. It is maintained by professional gallery staff. We dedicate significant resources to marketing and advertising, have ample insurance against theft, loss and/or damage, and monitor the gallery 24 hours a day with docents and a security system.

The Salem Art Association will be receiving arts, crafts and handmade gifts for the Showcase October 22-28. If you would like to participate in this exhibition, please email galleries@salemart.org or call the number below to accept our invitation. For more information about the Art Center, visit http://www.salemart.org. As an invited artist, you’ll receive a one-year complimentary membership to the Salem Art Association.

We look forward to the possibility of representing you and your work this holiday season!
Attached you will find an image from last year’s Holiday Showcase.
